The First Aid unit, HLTAID003 Provide First Aid, is nationally accredited providing participants with the qualification to be a First Aid representative in many workplaces and other required situations. The course we deliver is highly practical and focused on real Safety Scenarios that you can put in to practice.
This unit was also previously known as Apply First Aid HLTFA311A, Senior First Aid, Apply First Aid HLTFA301B, Apply First Aid HLTFA301C.

Physical requirements of this course
It is a requirement of this unit that students are to perform a minimum of 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on a manikin placed on the floor. This is a mandatory requirement as stated in the Training Package and there are no exceptions that can be made.
If for any reason students are unable to perform these physical requirements, students cannot be deemed competent or issued with a Statement of Attainment.

UETTDRRF06B Perform Rescue From A Live LV Panel AVAILABLE!
Add this unit for an additional $60 which includes the skills and knowledge required to rescue a person in contact with low voltage live electrical conductors and equipment and receive a Statement of Attainment for both units. Please select the First Aid Plus Low Voltage Rescue ticket when booking your course date.
5-6 hours face to face plus course pre work in the form of an online workbook, approximately 1-1.5 hours. A link to the online workbook will be provided to all participants in a confirmation email after your booking has been made.

On successful completion of the course participants will be issued with a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for HLTAID003 Provide First Aid (valid for 3 years), HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (valid for 12 months) and HLTAID002 Provide basic emergency life support

*Only for training completed at our Parramatta training facility during week days. All other certificates are issued by close of business the following business day. Additional wallet-sized certificate can be issued for an additional $5 (ask our staff for more details) to help keep certification details handy. Certificates are in soft copy PDF format. If you require an A4 hard copy certificate, this can be purchased and posted out for an additional $10 per certificate at checkout.
